New Sailboat, and more work :)

It's been a while since I've updated the blog so thought I would catch up a bit.

Back in August, I "invested" in a new sailboat.  I found a Seaward 25 over at Mark Twain lake for sale and began pursuing it and negotiating with its owner.  We came to agreement on the price and now I am the proud owner of said boat.  As with every boat, there is always a tremendous amount of work to be done, starting with the trailer.  I'm fortunate that the boat was sitting in the Marina slip at Mark Twain so this gave me an opportunity to work on the trailer.

The trailer needed new bunks, brakes, tires, lights, and a few miscellaneous items.  I've been working on it for the past few weeks and have just finally completed all the necessary things the trailer needed.

The next thing to be accomplished is to take the trailer over to the lake and load the boat on it, bring it back home, and get to work on the boat itself.

I'll attach a few pictures.
