Aruba - Day 4 - Arashi Beach
We awoke to another great day. The weather here is consistently amazing. We ate breakfast, did a legs and back workout outside on the patio. We were a hot, sweaty mess afterwards, so did the quick dip in the pool. We planned to go to Arashi beach so we decided to just eat a sandwich at the house and pack up our goodies. We had read we needed to take chairs, etc with us so we packed them up, and headed out. Beach there is beautiful, great sand, and the water was crystal clear as usual. We lay (my wife, the english teacher confirms this is gramatically correct past tense of lie....even though the country boy in me says it sounds funny) on some towels on the beach and hit the water. We left there around 3:30 and went back to the house to get ready for dinner and get the salt off. Interestingly, even though we used the same sunscreen, same weather, and same time/activities, we both got a little sunburn today. I'm unable to figure out why <shrug>. Dinner was to be at Passions on the Beach where you eat right on the beach and watch the sunset. We found the location without problem. The food was good, but the real seller on this one is the setting. Hard to beat sitting on the beach at sunset with tiki torches, candles, and dinner. It was one of those things Nan had always wanted to do and we checked that one off :)
Another great day.
Another great day.
