Down the Canyon and Take it easy
Quote of the day: A Hammock is not a productivity tool. - Jerry Bruggeman
Day started early with some campers ( Jerry, Will, and Zach) getting up at 4:30am and catching a shuttle to do a canyon hike down in Grand Canyon. They hiked three miles in and three miles back on a 2040 foot decent. Temperature in the bottom of the canyon was 106 so some tired hikers returned but mission was accomplished. The rest of the campers slept in, ate cereal, did some shopping at the general store and just relaxed. We fixed homemade chili over the open fire with the tripod and Dutch oven. It was well received with little left over. Fun day!
Connectivity issues tonight so I don't have any of Jerry's pictures from hike to share but will try again tomorrow :)
